This week, I picked up a jam jar cover (technically, this is an anchovy jar cover, but that just doesn’t sound right) that I’d started some time ago. When I started, I found the project really time-consuming because I had to stop crocheting every few rounds and go back to work the embroidered pips. I wouldn’t have been able to go back and finish them after I’d done all the crocheting because it would have been too fiddly reaching so deep into the bottom of the near-finished jar cover.

So, this week I picked up an amigurumi cactus I’d been working on for a little while. This project had been put to one side because I couldn’t find the right size terracotta pot in which to put it after I’d finished it. I was hoping that, since I’d finally found one, that would motivate me to work really hard on getting this finished.
